Eileen Anderson, the Anne Templeton Zimmerman MD Professor in Bioethics at the School of Medicine, gave a presentation at the 2024 Ohio Celebrate Kids! conference in Columbus in September.
During the presentation, Anderson taught the Anderson Cultural Models Tools to 200 court appointed special advocates, guardians ad litem, magistrates and judges. Anderson serves on the Judicial College of the Supreme Court of Ohio, teaching courses on child health and wellbeing for court officials and affiliates. The course, “Diversity, Culture and Communication: Tools to Help the GAL/CASA” was developed out of Anderson’s research conducted at the School of Medicine.
