Medicine’s Dorr Dearborn writes op-ed on lead poisoning and children

Cleveland’s lead poisioning legacy: Dorr G. Dearborn
The Plain Dealer: Dorr Dearborn, chair of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences, wrote an opinion editorial piece about the continued problem of lead poisoning for children growing up in old Cleveland houses. He wrote, the effects of elevated lead levels are a decreased IQ, a decreased attention span, poor school performance and aggressive behavior.
