Charis Eng, professor of genetics and genome sciences, molecular medicine and general medical sciences and member of the Cancer Prevention Control & Population Research Program at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, was awarded the American Cancer Society’s highest honor, the Medal of Honor. This award is bestowed upon distinguished individuals who have made valuable contributions in the fight against cancer through basic research, clinical research, and cancer control. She was one of five recipients for 2018.
