Brian M. Mercer, professor and chair of reproductive biology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, chaired the editorial task force for the upcoming new and revised Your Pregnancy and Childbirth: Month to Month with The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Mercer was essential in shaping the book’s tone, accuracy and readability.
The book, the seventh edition, is geared toward moms-to-be and new mothers and will be published Jan. 26. Mercer served on the editorial task force for two previous editions of the book.
Mercer also chairs obstetrics and gynecology at MetroHealth Medical Center and is director of The Women’s Center.
