CWRU researchers heading teams chosen by amfAR to pursue research for eradicating HIV and AIDS
The Plain Dealer: Eric Arts, professor of medicine, and Jonathan Karn, the Reinberger Professor of Molecular Biology, received funding from The Foundation for AIDS Research for their projects aimed at eliminating AIDS. “The stuff we’re doing and testing in an animal model is something we want to bring into human trials within a year,” Arts said of his research project.
