The Plain Dealer: Women in their mid-30s and beyond may have hormone-related deficiencies that cause them to be tired, to lose their hair or to gain weight. One, for example, is thyroid dysfunction, which can be checked by testing TSH levels, said Armand Krikorian, assistant professor of medicine.
