Rishabh Mazmudar, a first-year medical student, has been selected to participate in the annual Telluride Patient Safety Roundtable this summer. This week-long experience brings together health science students, resident physicians and faculty from around the nation to address important patient safety issues. He is one of approximately 40 medical students around the nation chosen to participate for his “leadership accomplishments and strong interest in patient safety and quality improvement.”
Over the last 14 years, The Telluride Experience has brought leaders and trainees together to tackle various dilemmas regarding transparency and the need for effective communication skills when medical errors and adverse events occur.
