Raghav Tripathi, a first-year medical student, and Jeremy S. Bordeaux, associate professor of dermatology, published research in Dermatologic Surgery.
Their new research breaks down the connection between sebaceous carcinoma (a very rare skin cancer) and genitourinary/gastrointestinal tumors in a rare genetic condition known as Muir-Torre Syndrome (MTS).
There is very little information for patients with MTS to better understand their condition, and this research will help clinicians in their approach to MTS patients.
