The School of Medicine will host a lecture with Harvey Lodish, professor of biology and biological engineering at MIT and member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research.
Lodish will present “Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship” Tuesday, April 18, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom C.
Lodish is a Cleveland native and the founder and scientific advisory board member of Genzyme Inc., Arris Pharmaceuticals Inc., Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Allozyne Inc. He also is the lead author of Molecular Cell Biology, which is now in its seventh edition and has been translated into 10 languages.
