Mike Thomas, director of MediaVision, was elected to the Lakeland Foundation Board of Directors, effective July 1. His role as alumni representative will focus on Lakeland Community College alumni, including outreach and philanthropic efforts.
Founded in 1982, the Lakeland Foundation creates relationships and attracts resources that support the strategic priorities of Lakeland Community College. The Lakeland Foundation is committed to providing opportunities that empower student success and enrich the quality of life within the community. Thomas looks forward to giving back to his alma mater by taking a fresh look at ongoing challenges and creating successful strategies which will impact current and future students of Lakeland Community College.
