MATLAB R2016a versions for students, faculty and staff now available on the Software Center

The latest version of MATLAB is now available to members of the Case Western Reserve University community. Students may download MATLAB R2016a TAH from the Software Center. The concurrent use MATLAB R2016a license suite is available on the Software Center for faculty and staff. This version can be used on lab equipment across campus.

MATLAB 2016a supports 64-bit systems only. The Software Center will continue to offer MATLAB 2015b for members of the university community who have 32-bit systems. Removal of Matlab 2015b for 32-bit systems may occur in Spring 2017.

Both versions of MATLAB are available at no cost and compatible with recent releases of Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. For more information regarding compatibility, review the system requirements page on the MATLAB website.

MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment for numerical computation, visualization and programming. Using MATLAB, students can analyze data, develop algorithms, and create models and applications.
