Angela Clark-Taylor, executive director of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, recently received the Mentorship Award from the National Women’s Studies Association Women’s Centers Committee.
This award honors the critically important role that mentors play within women’s and gender equity centers, and the advancement of the field. Recipients have a demonstrated commitment to the development of others as shown through their work supporting students and/or colleagues.
Clark-Taylor was nominated for this award with the support of no fewer than 11 current and former mentees, in recognition of her commitment to supporting women and gender diversity in many areas of higher education.
