Frank Ryan, the last quarterback to lead the Cleveland Browns to an NFL title, has died at 87
AP News: Six months after leading the Cleveland Browns to a 1964 championship, Frank Ryan earned his doctorate in mathematics. Two years later, he became an assistant professor of mathematics at Case Institute of Technology, continuing to teach here while playing for the Browns. The former Pro Bowler died Monday, Jan. 1.
