The sixth session of “Increasing Your Scholarly Impact for Graduate Students,” a university libraries workshop series, will take place Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Kelvin Smith Library, Room 215. This session will be titled “Marketing Your Scholarship and Yourself for Graduate Students.”

Getting the word out about scholarship is critical in building a research community presence and in strengthening a tenure bid. In this session, attendees will learn about various methods for maximizing scholarly footprint and creating an online research identity with academic and research peer networks. The session will cover the use of Author IDs, registries, research discussion and sharing hubs such as ResearchGate and FigShare.
