Beginning March 1, all graduating students are invited to register online with the university’s commencement office to indicate if they plan to participate in this year’s upcoming commencement ceremonies. Commencement registration is a separate process from the SIS application for graduation. The purpose of commencement registration is to indicate attendance at the university-wide convocation and at school-specific diploma ceremonies. Commencement registration will close Friday, March 31.
Graduating students can register online at case.edu/commencement with their CWRU Network ID and password.
Graduating students also are invited to attend doctoral fittings and the university Grad Fair. Doctoral fitting events are open to all professional and doctoral students (MD, DMD, DMA, PhD, DNP, DM, JD, SJD). At the doctoral fittings, professional and doctoral degree candidates can register to participate in commencement ceremonies and have their regalia measurements taken. Doctoral students planning to purchase custom regalia must attend a doctoral fitting event or visit the bookstore to have additional measurements taken; custom regalia orders cannot be placed over the phone.
A law doctoral fitting will be held March 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the School of Law. The med doctoral fitting will be held March 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Health Education Campus.
All students earning bachelor’s or master’s degrees are encouraged to attend Grad Fair to purchase their cap and gown March 23, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and March 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the University Bookstore (11434 Uptown Ave.).
