March for Marfan Virtual Walk for Victory

For 15 years, Alpha Phi Omega has teamed up with the Marfan Foundation to raise money to research this currently incurable disease. Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to participate in the March for Marfan Virtual Walk for Victory Saturday, May 2, at 1 p.m.

Affecting an estimated 50,000 patients in the United States, this genetic condition causes an elongated skeletal system that is prone to injury. Other symptoms include an increased risk for eye problems and an enlarged aorta.

The May 2 walk is part of a global effort.

Registration costs $20 as an individual walker, but any amount can be donated and registration can be completed as a group.
