The Plain Dealer: Ohio’s infant mortality rates haven’t grown since 2006, though it’s still the 11th-highest rate in the country. “In the short term, it’s frustrating, but over the longer term, those numbers do continue to improve,” said Marc Collin, associate professor of pediatrics and medical director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at MetroHealth Medical Center.
