Kendall Institute for International Social Work Education Advisory Board. The appointment is effective through June 30, 2022.
The Kendall Institute was established in 2004. Its mission is to promote initiatives within the American social work education community, and to equip practitioners and researchers with appropriate knowledge and requisite skills.
The Kendall Institute Advisory Board is a policy-making body of experts from the international social work community. The board works with the CSWE Commission on Global Social Work Education to foster partnerships and collaboration among international non-governmental organizations. The top priorities of the Advisory Board are to promote the development of international scholars, and to support the development of students to practice with international perspectives.
In addition to her other work, Milligan will conduct seminars and discussions on timely global issues. She has been involved with the Kendall Institute before, traveling to Havana, Cuba, with other U.S. social work faculty to understand social work practice in the country.
