Mandel School’s Richard Sigg earns professional service award

Richard Sigg, director of recruitment and enrollment at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, was recently named the recipient of the 2024 National Deans and Directors of Social Work Admissions (NDDSWA) Acknowledgement of Service Award.

In an effort to highlight the incredible work being done in the field of graduate recruitment and admissions, the NDDSWA established awards to provide an opportunity to honor exceptional colleagues.

The Acknowledgement of Service award recognizes Sigg for his more than 10 years of service to the profession, his creative and innovative ways in his approach to admissions, and his engagement in the community at large. His support to colleagues has had a lasting impact on members of the NDDSWA.

“Richard is one of our shining ‘superstars,’” said Mandel School Dean Dexter Voisin. “We are delighted that the NDDSWA also recognizes his many contributions to our school.”

Sigg was honored at the NDDSWA’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony in October.
