Mandel School’s Mark Singer co-authors op-ed on modern policing

Mark Singer, the Leonard W. Mayo Professor in Family and Child Welfare at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, co-authored an op-ed in The Plain Dealer about modern policing.

The article, co-authored with Bernard Buckner, a former Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority police chief, was titled “Back to the future with community policing in Cleveland.”

Singer and Buckner wrote about the origins of modern policing and current trends.
