Laura Voith, associate professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, recently penned a piece published by The Conversation.
In her article, titled “Why do some men commit domestic violence? Trauma and social isolation may play a role,” Voith explained how society needs to understand the people who perpetrate domestic violence and how to successfully intervene to end the problem.
“Understanding how someone comes to perpetrate violence is necessary to stop violence from happening in the first place,” she wrote.
