Mandel School’s Jennifer King pens piece on COVID-19 anniversary

Jennifer King, an assistant professor and assistant director of the Center on Trauma and Adversity at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, weighed in on the one-year mark of COVID-19 pandemic in a piece published by Medium.

Her article, titled “A Year Later, The Body Remembers” detailed best practices for managing trauma reactions to the pandemic’s anniversary, suggesting practicing patience, limiting time spent on media/social media and making connections.
