David L. Hussey, associate professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and research director at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, co-authored the piece Specialized Practice Curricular Guide for Substance Use Social Work Practice.

Written by the Council on Social Work Education, the guide aims to prepare students through research and best practice standards when working with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities with regard to substance abuse.
