Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine recently appointed Dan Flannery, the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor and director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, to the new School Safety Working Group.
The working group was created as part of the new Ohio School Safety Center. The group will evaluate issues relating to school safety and report to the center.
The group had its first meeting earlier this week.
