‘Rust Belt Chic’ warms to scruffy, problematic Cleveland
The Plain Dealer: Mandel School researcher Richey Piiparinen recently co-created a new book, Rust Belt Chic, that is a collection of essays by writers across Cleveland. Distinguished University Professor Claudia Coulton said Piiparinen’s work represents “the next generation—people who are now engaging in the discourse who are not necessarily publishing their ideas in academia, or in the traditional ways.”
