The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences’ Center on Trauma and Adversity has worked with local and national practitioners, teachers and providers to create a line-up of virtual wellness offerings, free of charge, to anyone who would like to participate. The current community offerings include trauma-informed yoga, a community care gathering, and a mindful painting class.
“It is so important to create time and space for self-care and community-care as we navigate this collective trauma,” said Jennifer King, the center’s assistant director.
All of the sessions will be held live, but will also be recorded for later viewing with permission from the provider/facilitator.
