Mandel School offers “Virtual Global and Intercultural Learning: Poland”

This semester, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences is offering virtual study abroad courses. The courses provide an opportunity for students to engage in global and intercultural learning with diverse professionals across the globe without leaving home.

In Invisible Groups in a New Poland (SASS 375C/575)—held Feb. 20, March 6, March 20 and April 3—students can study Poland virtually with lectures, discussions and visits with organizations. The class will explore how Poland’s recent political and economic transformations impacted its social welfare system working to tackle poverty, homelessness, aging and mental health disorders.

Applications for Virtual Global and Intercultural Learning: Poland are due Feb. 12.

Register for the course through SIS.
