Mandel School faculty member-doctoral student team recognized for foster care and minority youth research

Dana Prince, assistant professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, and doctoral students Braveheart Gillani and Meagan Ray-Novak were featured in a blog post published by the International System Dynamics Society (ISDC).

The blog post, titled “Connecting Perspectives on Gender Dynamics,” included highlights from the ISDC 2021 Conference. Prince and her team were recognized for their presentation on the “Sexual and Gender Minority Youth in the Foster Care Model,” which uses minority stress theory to explain stressors and structural issues that impact minority populations.
