Weidi Qin, doctoral student at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, recently received the Behavioral & Social Sciences (BSS) Student Research Award from the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) for her dissertation. Qin was awarded a $500 cash prize for her research.
Qin will be recognized for her research at the BSS Online Business Meeting Thursday, Oct. 28, and at the BSS Section Lunch and Awards Presentation at the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting Friday, Nov. 12, in Phoenix.
