Mandel School Centennial Speaker Series continues with colloquia on aging well April 8

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will continue its Centennial Speaker Series with research colloquia Friday, April 8, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 115.

The event will feature talks from two alumni on the colloquia’s topic “Aging Well: Research and Services.”

Charles A. Emlet (GRS ’98, social welfare), professor of social work at the University of Washington, will give a talk titled “Aging Successfully with HIV.”

Mary McNamara (SAS ’03), administrative manager with the City of Cleveland Department of Aging, will present “Making Cleveland an Age-Friendly City.”

A reception will follow the event.
