“Manage Your Scholarly Reputation” workshop series open to faculty and graduate students

Kelvin Smith Library will host a series of workshops to support faculty and graduate students in maximizing the impact of their scholarly publications. The workshop series will help attendees navigate the evolving publishing landscape, including copyright law, marketing research, online presence and negotiating contracts.

Each session will be offered twice. Participants can attend all five of the following workshops or individual sessions:

  • “Marketing Your Scholarship and Yourself”—Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
  • “Measuring Your Scholarly Impact”—Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 3 to 4 p.m.
  • “Where to Publish”—Tuesday, March 5, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 6, from 1 to 2 p.m.
  • “Engaging with Digital Scholarship”—Wednesday, March 18, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • “Leveraging Your Rights as an Author: Copyright and Scholarly Publishing”—Tuesday, March 26, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 28, from 1 to 2 p.m.
