Make suggestions for future Think Forum speakers and topics

The Think Forum Advisory Committee invites suggestions for future Think Forum speakers and topics.

The Think Forum speaker series brings academic leaders and international experts to campus to present on contemporary topics. The series features two lectures during fall semester and two lectures during spring semester. Tickets are always free and the events are open to members of the campus community and the public.

Recent speakers include:

  • Famed neurologist Robert Sapolsky;
  • Emmy Award-Winner Henry Louis Gates Jr.;
  • Physician and author Abraham Verghese; and
  • Feminist icon Gloria Steinem.

Earlier this semester, Think Forum presented ‘me too.’ movement founder and social justice activist Tarana Burke and social psychologist and author Jonathan Haidt. Haidt’s lecture can be viewed online. The spring lectures will feature Julia Ioffe on the topic of Russia and Viet Thanh Nguyen discussing refugee stories.

See the Think Forum website for tickets and details.
