Make a donation to Relay for Life to take part in “Dress Down Day”

The Relay for Life Student Affairs Cares team will host a “Dress Down Day” fundraiser Friday, March 23. As part of this event, staff and faculty members are invited to donate $5 for the privilege of “dressing down” (wearing jeans or other casual attire) on March 23. This event aims to raise money for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer and promote staff and faculty’s commitment to the cause.

To participate:

1.    Make a secure donation online to the Relay for Life Student Affairs Cares team.

2.    Drop off your $5 donation (please bring exact change) at one of the “Dress Down Day” locations:

  • The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning or the Student Activities and Leadership Office in Thwing Center
  • The Northside Housing Office in Wade
  • The Department of Human Resources in Crawford Hall 304

Donations will be collected for this event until Thursday, March 22. All participants will receive a Relay For Life pin to wear on Dress Down Day to symbolize your support.

If you do not want to participate in Dress Down Day but would like to join either the Student Affairs Cares team or another faculty and staff team to walk during Relay for Life on April 21 or 22, you are welcome to join a team. All faculty, staff, friends and family are welcome.
