“Lying on the Internet: Social Media and Misinformation in Everyday Life”

It can be difficult to navigate the information in your social media feeds. The Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship at Kelvin Smith Library will host a workshop titled “Lying on the Internet: Social Media and Misinformation in Everyday Life” Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Freedman Center Collaboration Commons.

Open to all members of the Case Western Reserve University community, this workshop will encourage participants to confront their media assumptions and find ways to investigate the information they come across.

Librarians Olivia Hobbs and Erin Smith will lead this interactive workshop.

Register to attend.
