Partners in Health Engage is hosting “Love Your Community,” an event focused on showing students how to give back to their communities, on Friday, Feb. 14, from 12-3 p.m. in the atrium of the Thwing Center.
Yvonka Hall, executive director of the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, will speak about health disparities and social justice issues in Cleveland during Community Hour, scheduled from 12:45 to 2 p.m. Multiple CWRU clubs will also be participating in the event to discuss justice issues currently affecting Cleveland and what students can do to be involved and affect greater change.
Desserts catered from Edwin’s Leadership and Restaurant Institute will be served. No registration is needed. The event is free and open to the campus community.
