The university community is invited to the book release celebration for the late U.S. Congressman Louis Stokes’ autobiography, The Gentleman from Ohio.
The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will host the event in its Noble Commons Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 4:30 p.m.
Stokes’ daughter, Lori Stokes, and other Stokes family members will read from and discuss the book, along with Mandel School faculty members.
A reception will follow the remarks and readings. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by Lori Stokes.
