Look back with Fast Forward: CWRU’s 2021–22 annual report

At Case Western Reserve University, we’re continually making progress—in research, education and our community, both on campus and beyond. And the 2021–22 fiscal year saw many changes, from President Eric W. Kaler’s inauguration to the safe return of many events and activities that went on a pandemic pause.

As a new semester begins, we invite you to take a look back on 2021–22 with Fast Forward, the university’s annual report.

In the report, you’ll find a few of the university’s many exceptional achievements between July 1, 2021, and June 30, 2022, such as:

  • A look at how faculty, staff and students used advancements in technology—from artificial intelligence in art to data mining with supercomputers—to accelerate research;
  • New programs and initiatives—especially related to diversity and inclusion—that launched within President Kaler’s first 365 days, all with the goal of driving change on campus; and
  • Research, direct care and outreach programs that aim to advance our community.

Plus, readers can view a welcome from the president, as well as an overview of degrees and campus statistics, financials, giving data, and research and technology management highlights.
