Join the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences for a guest lecture by Yvonne Pointer, a nationally and internationally known anti-violence advocate. Part of the Mandel School’s Classroom Without Walls initiative, the lecture will focus on overcoming tragic/horrific loss in order to assist others experiencing the same.
The event will take place Wednesday, April 17, in room 108 of the Mandel Center, located at 11402 Bellflower Road. There will be light refreshments from 6 to 6:30 p.m. with Pointer’s lecture and a Q&A to follow from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The lecture is open to the general public and is free to attend.
