Leonard Gelfand STEM Center’s Kathy Kwiatkowski honored for work with Population Education program

Kathy Kwiatkowski, director of Math and Science for the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center, was named the Most Valuable Trainer for 2016 for her work with the Population Education program.

Population Education, a program of Population Connection, trains a broad audience of K-12 educators to deliver its unique curriculum on human population issues.

Population Education’s Volunteer Trainers Network has more than 400 educators, who provide workshops in their communities and abroad.

Kwiatkowski joined the trainers network in 2010 and has presented 19 workshops since.
