Cleveland Hillel will host a lecture and talk with Mohamed Abubakr, a civil and human rights activist who has been a member of YaLa Young Leaders Middle East peace movement since 2011.
The event will he held Thursday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 10 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Senior Classroom.
Abubakr travels and actively engages in dialogue regarding cooperation with Israeli and Palestinian people from across the Middle East.
Hillel will host the discussion to facilitate a meaningful dialogue and discussion with our campus community about the Israeli-Arab relations and his perspective of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.
A reception will follow the discussion.
