Learn Spanish with Maria Elena Fernandez this summer

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (DMLL) at Case Western Reserve University invites the university students to sign up for a Spanish course (SPAN 102) with Maria Elena Fernandez. Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to read, write, listen and speak Spanish with reasonable accuracy on a wider variety of everyday topics within the indicative and subjunctive moods. 

SPAN 102 will go on to cover the preterit and imperfect together all other indicative verb forms such as future, present perfect, conditional and pluperfect, as well as imperative mood, the subjunctive mood present and imperfect subjunctive. Lexical expressions and useful vocabulary will be acquired via themed chapters. 

The classes will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, June 6 – July 11, from 12 to 2:55 p.m. via Zoom.
