Koru Mindfulness is a four-session course that will teach students a wide variety of mindfulness skills in a group learning environment. These skills will help students incorporate mindfulness into their daily life so they can experience the benefits of less stress, better sleep and improved self-compassion.
Participants should make sure they can attend all four sessions, as registration is limited to 12 participants. This course is open to all enrolled CWRU, Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University podiatry students.
Times and dates for the fall 2020 sessions are listed below:
- Tuesday sessions: Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Register for Tuesday sessions.
- Friday sessions: Oct. 9, Oct. 16, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 from noon to 1:15 p.m. Register for Friday sessions.
- Wednesday sessions: Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Dec. 2 from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Register for Wednesday sessions.
All fall 2020 sessions will be held virtually. The Zoom link for each session will be sent after registration. All sessions are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
