Learn how to “recycle like a master” at the next Green Bag Lunch Series event

The Spartan and Spartie with recycling binsThe next Green Bag Lunch Series event will be held will feature a discussion with recycling experts in Northeast Ohio.

The event, centered on the topic “Recycle Like a Master,” will be Wednesday, March 23, from noon to 1 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, ballroom C.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from:

  • Diane Bickett, executive director of the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Managment District;
  • Pat Holland, RET3 (CWRU’s e-waste recycling vendor) founder and former executive director of the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste Management District; and
  • David November, sustainability manager at Cuyahoga Community College and Zero Waste NEO member.

The panel will discuss how recycling happens around Cleveland as well as recycling tips so participants learn how to “recycle like a master.”

Participants should bring a lunch and their own reusable cup or mug. Coffee, tea, water and cookies will be provided.
