Learn how to create a warm classroom environment at Thursday’s UCITE session

Research suggests that faculty who strive to create a good first impression and a warm climate in the classroom not only obtain better educational outcomes, but they and their students also have much more enjoyable experiences than those who neglect to pay attention to doing so.

Even simple things, such as the wording of the syllabus, can influence the nature of the classroom climate.

At the next University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE) session, presenters will address many elements that go into creating a warm classroom climate.

The session will be held Thursday, July 30, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room, of  the Allen Memorial Medical Library (use the Adelbert Road doors).

Pizza, soda and water will be provided at this session. RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
