Learn how individuals and business units can comply with myriad health and safety regulations during an upcoming talk, “Safety is Everybody’s Business: Compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.” The talk will be held April 24 from noon to 1 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room.
Marc Rubin, director of Environmental Health and Safety, will present the talk, where he will place particular emphasis on the discussion of due diligence as it relates to the care that a reasonable person exercises to avoid harm to other persons or their property.
Rubin also is the chemical safety officer and Select Agents Alternate Responsible Official for the university.
The event, hosted by the Case Western Reserve University Compliance Program, is especially important for deans, administrators, managers, supervisors, and faculty and staff members with health and safety regulation compliance responsibilities, but all are welcome to attend.
