Learning to deliver feedback to direct reports is a vital skill for a supervisor’s professional development. Providing feedback can improve employee morale, reduce confusion regarding expectations and current performance, and enhance interpersonal relationships with direct reports.
To assist employees in developing this skill, the Office of Human Resources’ Organizational Development and Learning division will host a workshop May 15, titled “Fundamentals for Providing Feedback.”
Objectives for this workshop are to help supervisors develop an understanding of the feedback process, provide opportunities to experiment and role play, and learn how to effectively give and receive feedback.
The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room, located on the second floor.
