During his 4-years enlisted in the Marines, Kirk earned his Black Belt in Mixed Martial arts, self-defense and armed one-on-one combat. Kirk graduated from John Carroll University with his bachelors in Exercise Science and Entrepreneurship and also has a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from NSCA.

In this intro to self-defense workshop, you will learn the basic techniques in fending off an attacker. From the basic fighting stance to getting out of an attackers arms and taking him to the ground, you will leave feeling confident, empowered, and wanting to learn more in Level 2!

This is an interactive self-defense class. Participants should be prepared to work with someone of a different size; male or female, be comfortable with person on person contact.
