Learn about tuition rates, academic enhancements during provost’s forum March 7

Provost W.A. “Bud” Baeslack III and members of his leadership team will hold a forum Friday, March 7, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium to discuss initiatives to enhance student academic and extracurricular experiences at Case Western Reserve. During the forum, they also will review proposed tuition rates and room and board fees for undergraduates in 2014-2015.

The leadership team will describe improvements in such areas as:

  • instructional technology, including active learning classrooms;
  • first-year experience;
  • student advising and retention programs;
  • expanded career services offerings;
  • graduate student professional development initiatives; and
  • increased student affairs programming for graduate and professional students.

In addition, they will review priorities of the university’s new strategic plan, in particular those that directly impact students.

The meeting will include opportunities for questions and comments. Refreshments will be provided.
