Learn about this year’s Nobel Prize winners at the Case Nobel Symposium, Jan. 30

The cell biology program, in conjunction with the Department of Physics, will sponsor the annual Case Nobel Symposium on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 4:15 p.m. in Rockefeller Building, Room 301.

At the event, three faculty members will give brief talks describing the accomplishments of the laureates who received science Nobel prizes in 2013.

Physics and astronomy professor Glenn Starkman will discuss the physics prize, followed by biochemistry professor Martin Snider on the medicine or physiology prize, and biochemistry professor Michael Weiss on the chemistry prize.

A reception will follow the talks.
