Learn about study abroad opportunities at fourth annual Study Abroad Fair

Students are invited to learn more about affordable and exciting programs offered abroad at the fourth annual Study Abroad Fair on Friday, Sept. 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on The Quad.

To maximize the experience, consider the following:

  • Browse: With so many programs to choose from, the fair can be overwhelming. Take your time walking around, looking at the different programs, photos, and displays. Pick up some brochures and information. Year-long, semester and short-term program options will be represented.
  • Ask questions: Find out more about programs, financial aid and living abroad by asking questions of the many program representatives and study abroad alumnus.
  • Talk to a Study Abroad Advisor and set up an appointment: Learn about the first steps in studying abroad.
  • Meet with financial aid for study abroad: Financial Aid representatives will be on hand to answer questions about funding your study abroad experience.
  • Meet CWRU students that have studied abroad: Study Abroad Alumni will be available to discuss their experience.
  • Browse photos from study abroad: The Study Abroad Photo Contest entries will be on display on the Tomlinson Atrium television.
  • Eat and listen to music: The Center for International Affairs has provided ice cream and popcorn for the afternoon. A steel-drum band will help set the mood.

For those who can’t attend the fair, information is available at the Center for International Affairs in Tomlinson, room 143, or by emailing the office at studyabroad@case.edu for an appointment with a study abroad advisor.
